Decisions..Decisions...

Well, I've been thinking about going back to my old job. I'm starting to miss working, plus I miss having money...lol. While I love staying home with the kids and having alot of time to spend on my shop. I starting to miss having money a little more, to buy the thing we need or want when we want or need them.
My husband and I have not come to an agreement yet, but I'm still trying to talk him into it. He likes me staying home, probably because the house stays clean...lol. But the fact is, he is just not making enough money to support the 5 of us.
I will keep posted on my final decision.

Treasure Trooper!

So I found this site called Treasure Trooper, from a person in the forums on this site that I belong to. She said that she has made real money from it and that she actually got a real check, that she showed us. So I was interested to see what she was talking about and wondered on over to the site.

Treasure Trooper is a website that you can get paid for taking surveys, and not only surveys. You also can get paid for shopping, and signing up for free offers. This site is really like not like any other paid survey site. It also has a fun Trading Hut where you can go to, to use the money that you have earned on tickets to participate in fun games to win even more money.

I was a little sceptical at first, because I have seen a million sites like this one before, only to wind up having to pay a fee in the end. Well this site doesn't charge you a dime and it's really fun and entertaining! And if you are only in it for taking the paid surveys, you can take one survey a day and the payout ranges from $.75 to $1.00. I know that doesn't sound like alot, but for a stay at home mom that doesn't make much money it does add up after awhile and specially if you are consistently taking the surveys every day. But it doesn't just stop with the surveys, remember you can sign up for offers too, if your into that. And all of the offers on Treasure Trooper available are free of charge, and the payput ranges from $.50 on up to $35.00. And then if you actually have money to shop, you can shop in the available shops that are on their sites, and it's places you normally shop at everyday like; Avon, 1-800-Flowers, Disney, Deliahs and more popular shops. And the payout ranges from 1.5% on up to 17.5%. And not only does Treasure Trooper offer all this, but it also has links to where the best paid surveys are and all of them do pay. It's better than having to scan the internet for hours, trying to find a good paid survey site.

I don't have money so I just stick to taking the surveys and sigining up for offers. I have been signed up with them for 2 weeks now and have made almost $13.00. Not bad for FREE money. I havn't recieved a check yet, but you can't cash out until your account is at least up $22.00. So when I do finally recieve that first check, you can be sure that I will be back to post. So please check it out, it really is alot of fun. I have evan participated in live surveys that pay out $3.00 or more.

And for every referral that you have sign up under you, you get even more money. So please Click on the banner above to be automatically referred by me!

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

Well actually it was my birthday yesterday. I just love The Beatles! :)

I didn't have time to blog yesterday, so I'm doing it today. I went over to my mom's for my birthday. She had a delicious cake with strawberry and creme icing and peanut butter and caramel ice cream waiting for me. We watched the Alvin and The Chipmunks movie that she bought for my birthday. She had already given me my big birthday present earlier. She payed my taxes for me YAY!!! I know I'm spoiled. :D~~~

You have to check out this movie, specially if you grew up watching the cartoon! It was so cute and they have all new songs.

Our Economy Sucks!

Yes as we all know the economy is really sucky right now! Just a couple weeks ago we were complaining over the gas prices and worried if we were going to have enough money from my hubby's check left over for groceries. And now we are worried if my husband is going to get layed off.

My husband came home yesterday and told me that everyone on his crew at the lumber mill he works at were layed off except him, because he's been there awhile. And he got knocked back down to a lower pay doing a differant position in the mill.

The reason for the layoff he said is that lumber sales are really low because of no one wanting to purchase houses anymore. So now we might face my husband losing his job because of the damn economy. And I thought it couldn't get any worse!

Worries are over! :D

So I have been trying to stay busy lately with my Etsy shops and trying to keep on top of the listings, which is sometimes near impossible. But at the same time keeping myself busy has kept me from worrying so much about my 6 year old.

My 6 year old kept getting double ear infections and not getting better only worse, starting back in October. All his doctor was able to do for him was give him antibiotics. Well after awhile, the reason he wasn't getting better is because he had become immune to the antibiotics. So his doctor came up with a solution that he thought and we thought would be the end to his ear infections. He gave him a completley different antibiotic and stronger, which cost us $200 up front even with health insurance...eeek...But it was worth it if it was going to make my baby get better.

Well at the same time this was going on, we kept getting reports from his kindergarden teacher that he was not listening to her and most of the time to the point of what she thought was completely ignoring her. We also started noticing at home that he was ignoring us. We could be not even a couple feet away from him and we had to nearly shout at him for him to hear us. We didn't know what to do, because we just thought he was misbehaving. And we aslo thought that his ear infections were finally gone, because he wasn't complaining about his ears anymore.

Well when we took him in for his check up after the last antibiotics were gone, his doctor noticed that my son had small holes in both of his ears. The doctor told us that the ear infections were gone, but now the reapeted ear infections had left holes, which might cause hearing loss. We were like.."oh no!'' So we took him in to an ear specialist and sure enough, the specialist told us that our son was temporarily moderately deaf in both ears. I was devastated, and upset because his doctor wasn't able to get rid of the ear infections that caused this. So I was so worried, because I thought he was going to be deaf forever. But then the specialist told us that we had 2 choices, to either wait until the holes closed up or put tubes in his ears which required a small surgery.

So we decided to do the tubal surgery, which took a huge chunk of our budget this month. But it was well worth it, because now my baby can hear much better. It was so cute the day he came home from the hospital after the surgery, he told us "thank you for my new ears" He thinks he got new ears...lol. So now I'm worry free and hopefully his ear troubles will be behind him. :)
So now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for some sales, to help pay for the rest of the doctor bills. Wish me luck :)~~~~~

Hello Newbie Blogger Here:)

I Originally started this blog because I'm a stay at home mom who is trying to find a way to make extra money off to the side. I came across this blog that had a link to a PayPerPost money making opportunity, so I thought I would try it out.

Not only do I want to try PayPerPost out, but I like the idea of having a place to come to at the end of my busy day and talk about my life.

Like I said I'm a stay at home mom, with 3 kids all boys, yes I said all boys!! :) (*read profile for more info) And I'm very happily married. I haven't always been a stay at home mom though. I use to work for a golf resort in Bandon Oregon called Bandon Dunes. I was a housekeeping supervisor, and I worked there for nearly 8 years, starting when I was 17. I worked nearly 12 hours a day. I loved working there and especially loved the money I was making. But I started having problems with my back a couple of years into doing housekeeping there, and now I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back. It made it very painful for me to continue the work that I was doing. So my Hubby came up with a solution to move us to where he grew up here in Springfield Oregon, so that he can get a better paying job. He did find a really good job at a lumber mill here, enough that I was able to quit my job back in October. It was a little scary at first, it still is scary. But once I faced the fact that it really was for the better and that I can devote my time to my children and my hobbies, I started to relax.

Once I got over missing my job, and all my friends, I started realizing I'm really liking the idea of staying home with my kids. My oldest son who is 6 is doing much better in school now, I'm able to play with my kids more and not be in pain. And I was able to start making a business out of my craft hobbies.

I make handmade jewelry and unique beaded bookmarks. I sell them on a site called Etsy. I know I'm not going to get rich off of it, but it's something I really love to do and I make enough on my sales to buy more supplies. So it keeps me and my hubby happy. :)

So since I'm a very busy momma, I'm hoping I will have time for this blog. I would like to see what it will turn out to be for me and and to see who is actually going to read it...lol.

I love to meet new people, specially other mommas like me. So feel free to leave comments. :)
Oh and please take a look at my shops off to the side. You might find something you just can't live without. :)
